Henry Van Dyke Jr., author, educator, and clergyman. He was appointed by President Woodrow Wilson to be Minister to the Netherlands and Luxembourg in 1913. He was also a close friend of Helen Keller, who wrote of him: "Dr. van Dyke is the kind of a friend to have when one is up against a difficult problem.
